🔗 Share this article Football Analyst Chris Sutton Takes On Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions The Gunners' 10-game victorious run was ended by the Black Cats prior to the international hiatus, but can the English top division frontrunners recover against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday? "{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton. "Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win." Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus AI, readers and a range of guests. In the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan. The singer's new record, the new release, is available on Friday. Football and Parenting Life Murs is a skilled footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of several charity football matches down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer. "{I recently played in a benefit game the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "My team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will! "I continue to love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again. "Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my daughter or son decides to play instead." The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach. "I won't force football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be managing their Saturday football team," he added. "I watched my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a period too. "My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our side for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!" Top Division Forecasts Saturday, 22 November Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their offense is already stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit. In my opinion this fixture will be fairly close, though. Burnley are well organised and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal. It smells of a one-all tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row. Sutton's prediction: 1-2 Olly's prediction: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3 Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2 Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple games - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me. In contrast, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they appear competitive again. West Ham's only on the road victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's coach. So, what on earth do I go with here - will it be West Ham extending their run under their manager, or the home side bouncing back? I will go with Bournemouth, because I believe what happened against Aston Villa was a anomaly. Sutton's prediction: 2-0 Olly's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2 The algorithm's pick: 1-1 Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season began, but they have impressed a few people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three in their last four games. A family member advised me to select Brentford striker Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice. The forward will likely score again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium. The Bees have not had great success on the road this season, and the Seagulls are always strong at home. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the break but I feel the home manager's side pose much more of a danger. Sutton's prediction: 2-1 The singer's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality turns out to be quite close. 1-1 The computer's outcome: 2-1 Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT It is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their last six games. They have have lots of talent in their team but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight. Regarding Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the top flight season so far. The away side's performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not seen any other team rough up the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them. The sensible thing would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously capable of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of October. However I am not choose that. Rather, I truly need to carry on going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good results because they clearly love to defy my predictions. Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage record, the only side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be absolutely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will pick up three points. Sutton's forecast: 1-0 Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but they have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0 The algorithm's prediction: 2-0 Anfield, 15:00 GMT It is a hard one to predict. Liverpool have suffered seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but could they be one of the teams who benefit from the {international break|
